Boer & Croon Corporate Finance assists in the sale of Moonen Packaging to OptiGroup

Boer & Croon Corporate Finance has assisted the shareholder of Moonen Packaging in the intended transaction (which still requires the approval of the ACM).

Moonen Packaging is the greenest company in the Netherlands, they won the 3rd Lean & Green Star in sustainable logistics. Moonen Packaging is active in the Food & Retail and Industry sectors.

 

With this acquisition, OptiGroup, based in Sweden, is taking an important step in its strategy in Western Europe. OptiGroup is one of the largest suppliers of business essentials in Europe. The company has more than 90,000 customers and a turnover of € 1.5 billion and is active in the Industrial & Safety, Facility & Foodservice and Printing & Creative sectors. OptiGroup sees Moonen as an important platform for international growth and aims for close cooperation in the field of sustainability.
